Attaching securely to your bed, it offers a safe, separate sleeping environment for baby while being only an arm's reach away from the parent for comfort, feeding and bonding. Each Co-Sleeper® Bassinet has two convenient side storage pockets and comes with a mattress and one 100% cotton fitted sheet as standard. The Co-Sleeper® Bassinet is suitable from birth until the baby is able to repeatedly roll back and forth or reach up to the sidewalls and roll / crawl onto the bed.
The Co-Sleeper® Bassinet can accommodate adult bed heights up to 61cm. It attaches to any bed width from a single to king to emperor (and even wider, if necessary!). If additional height is required a leg extension kit can be purchased which includes 3 sets of extensions each set increasing the height by 5cm so a total extra height of 15cm can be achieved using the whole kit.
The Co-Sleeper® Bassinet also converts into:
- a free standing bassinet
- a playpen
- a changing table
- a travel cot
making it excellent value for money and adding to its uniqueness.
The Co-Sleeper® Bassinet’s framework is made of white powder coated hollow steel tubing. The fabric that makes up the sides and bottom of the playpen and the carry bag is a strong nylon cloth. The liner for the Co-Sleeper® Bassinet is made of a washable cotton polyester blend. The securing straps for attaching the Co-Sleeper® Bassinet to the adult bed are made of 2.5cm nylon woven strapping.
The entire Co-Sleeper® Bassinet, changing table and playpen fold up into a 23 x 25.5 x 81cm nylon carry case with a sturdy carrying strap. The Co-Sleeper® Bassinet is accepted as hold baggage on most airlines.
When a play pen is a necessity, the unit converts into a handsome and sturdy playpen suitable for children up to approximately 18 months, depending on their size and weight, with a double trampoline floor and industry-approved safety locking arms. It is not intended for use by children old enough to climb out. Maximum weight allowance as a play pen is 16 kilos.
The unit will also easily convert to a convenient changing table or free standing bassinet that can be moved easily to any part of the house as it has two caster wheels.
